I used it on my old brushes with some clear baby shampoo. The result was great! My brushes look like new - because of the way it cleaned and dried the bristles didn't get flattened but puffed out rather nicely. The leftover water in the glass was murky and full of old makeup! I am glad I was able to finally give the brushes a good cleaning! It was easy to set up and use. You just pick whichever mold fits your brushes and stick it into the device for cleaning. I will say that the plastic square used to join the device and mold gets rather jammed in there and is a bear to remove. So make sure you have the right part that fits the right molds and you'll be able to get everything done in one swoop. Also make sure you are aware of your set up when you go to clean. I have been eyeing this for a while and I finally purchased during prime day. Listen! I am so happy that I did! At first I was using Mrs Meyers hand soap which is a great cleaner but didn’t do it for my brush. So then I tried dawn dish detergent and OMG! My brush was completely cleaned and dried in like one minute. I do mean clean! And dry! I could have saved myself so many pimples had I ordered one of these sooner… cleaning brushes by hand is a drag and never got them this clean! I 100% recommend this item!

My makeup brushes don't get washed nearly as much as they should because it's just a time consuming process. I had seen these cleaners for a while and broke down and got on Prime Day. It came in super fast and I already had triple AAA batteries since reviews said it required these batteries. My foundation brush is deplorable and the worst one to clean. I followed the instructions and did a little of my Eco tools brush shampoo (the BEST) and filled up to the water line and let it rip. I KNOW how dirty that water was supposed to be and it didn't do much. However, it was loosening up alllllllll the product that was in my brush. I did more shampoo and less water. Still dirty brush. Then I did straight micellar water and angled the brush/bowl to the side to soak up the micellar water. Brush still dirty. THEN I just did the Eco tools shampoo straight on my brush and rinsed using my fingers. That did the trick and I finally got somewhere as the product was loosened up and started washing out. I did a little more shampoo and water for the final time, dried, and the result was a super clean AND dry brush. Honestly, how this dries your brushes is my favorite part. My powder brush did wobble a little bit but cleaned and dried just fine, same for my other smaller brushes. Despite the trial and error, I'm glad I got this and will be able to clean my brushes without having to wait for them to dry!

I've seen videos of these things and I always wanted to try one considering the fact that I am too lazy to wash my makeup brushes every week in the sink with my scrub pad. It's really easy to use and with just a little bit of makeup brush cleaner and some warm water viola clean brushes! The only downside is if you have a brush with eye makeup applicator on one end and a blender on the other then it doesn't work for those but I can deal with washing those by hand myself haha.

Great purchase. Super easy to use the directions are pretty clear cut. Cuts the clean up process more than half. Advice - rinse with water after then spin again (I did this above my sink) to dry. Be sure not to get the metal part of the brush in the water. You just want to dip the hairs in. Cleans very well. Very happy with the purchase thus far.

This was very easy to use. Comes with more than enough adapters for a variety of brushes. Is fast! I did not time how long it took to was all my brushes. But it really was not long. The thicker bigger denser brushes did have to have a few more spins to dry. But the other's drier unbelievably fast. I feel the price was ok to not spend the time cleaning all my brushes. The adapters are made of a heavy rubber/silicone. The bowl is plastic. The stand is a hard plastic. Has a bag for the spinner. Doesn't not use a charger uses batteries. Maybe could be a deeper bowl on the big brush heads , but you could use a bowl of your own. This is just worth it! You won't be mad at it!. I hope this has help. This brush cleaner does exactly what it is supposed to do. Within minutes, I cleaned the six brushes I use each day. Even better is that they are all dry and ready to use. No longer do I have to remember to clean my brushes on Sunday evening so they can dry overnight. Now, I go from dirty to clean and dry within minutes. It was a great purchase.

I love this product. I used to wash my makeup brushes by hand and it took some time to get them clean. This product cut my makeup brush cleaning time in half. Super easy to use, does a great job cleaning, rinsing and drying the brushes. It is battery operated with aaa batteries. I just wish it had a way to be charged by usb, or power outlet so I wouldn’t have to go through batteries, but it is a decent price for a great product. Love the fact that it comes with different ends to fit your brushes on. My biggest brush was able to be washed and used with this. It is a must have!!!
